The World Self-Medication Industry (WSMI) is the world body representing manufacturers of nonprescription medicines. WSMI holds non-governmental organization status in official relations with the World Health Organization.

WSMI Mission:

To create and maintain an international environment intended to improve the opportunities for people who manage their own health through the responsible use of safe and effective self-medication products.

WSMI is made up of more than 50 member associations, including CHPA, from more than 50 countries or regions. WSMI is led by a Board of Directors.
