Ted Peterson is primarily focused on growing and retaining CHPA membership as well as helping to create business opportunities for the association’s member companies, and serves as a member of the association’s senior management team.

While Peterson officially joined CHPA’s staff in 2003, he had been working with the association since 2001 on membership development and retention issues. As the senior corporate development officer, he is charged with ensuring that association programs are consistent with member needs and that there continues to be an introduction of new ideas to create opportunities for Active and Associate member companies.

Peterson’s career has been spent in the consumer products industry holding positions of increasing responsibility in sales, customer support, and development with such companies as Eastman Kodak Company, Whitehall-Robins Healthcare division of American Home Products Corporation (later Wyeth and now Pfizer Consumer Healthcare), the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, and Exel Logistics, before founding his own company, Ted Peterson Group LLC.
