Daniel Quinonez

CHPA State Consultant

Daniel Quinonez is responsible for advocating on behalf of CHPA on state pseudoephedrine legislation and regulations.

Quinonez has over 17 years of experience working throughout the country in the political, government and public relations industry. Before joining CHPA, Daniel worked for the Mt. Vernon Strategy Group, a strategic and crisis communication firm that conducted senior level corporate coalition building and issue advocacy management. He also worked for the Saint Consulting Group, a leading national consulting firm that represented and advised many prestigious clients on important land use and development issues. 

Prior to that, Quinonez's experience included service as senior political field director for the International Council of Shopping Centers in Washington D.C., a 60,000 member trade association that represents the retail development community. He has also overseen the coordination of various political and grassroots campaigns at local, state, and national levels for the National Association of Home Builders in Washington D.C., a 225,000 member trade association and its 800 local and state chapters.

While living in New Jersey, Quinonez served as a successful campaign manager in the election of Congressman Michael Ferguson. He also held the position of director of communications of Bergen County, serving as a chief government spokesperson during both a natural disaster and a disease outbreak in the New York City metro area. 

Quinonez was member of the U.S. Army Reserves for 12 years.
